Debut of classic Captain Marvel costume.
- Captain Marvel #16
Well, Dragon Con has come and gone and the artist alley was of course filled with amazing artists that I probably spent WAY too much money on. But hey, I’d rather spend money in the artist alley or on smaller companies like Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab or Sock Dreams at cons like these.
Also, the first two weren’t done at Dragon Con. The first was a commission and the second is my own terrible art during that week of suck after Robin Williams died and the Ferguson was taking over my social media feeds. I was working on cosplay for Dragon Con and I needed a release with leftover painting materials.
Anyway, I’ll talk more about Dragon Con later. Here’s the artists!
Part 2 of my ever growing Carol sketch collection. (Part 1 is here.) The first one from Michelle Sciuto was a commission I made in advance of HeroesCon, but the rest are from… well… DashCon! Gee, for an artist alley so empty, how did I manage to walk away with 63% of the number of sketches I got at HeroesCon?
That last comment was sarcasm, if you couldn’t tell. I honestly had a good time at the con even with all the problems and it’s kind of laughable how much the internet blew it a lot of it out of proportion. Someone at work actually asked me if I had heard about it! If I had a little bit more money and had been smart enough to start on early Friday, I would have walked away with more sketches because that was one hella talented artist’s alley. Fattest stack of business cards I’ve left a con with in a while!
Anyway, here’s the list:

Here it is! The master post of my Carol sketches… Part 1! (Part 2 is here.)
Yes, it’s true, my friends. I have so many Carol sketches now that I need to make two posts. Now that most of my con season is done, I can post these and not feel like I’m leaving anyone out. Most of the ones in this post were from artists at HeroesCon with the exception of the first two being from Free Comic Book Day and that one of Carol as a Jaeger pilot from… where else… Shatterdome Atlanta.
Starting from top left to bottom right:
"Rock on Gold Dust Woman" — tis was supposed to be a warm down drawing, it got so so out of hand D:
